Introduction: The aesthetic demand has led to the increasing demand for “invisible” aligners in orthodontic clinical practice, among which stands out the Invisalign® system, developed by the company Align Technology®, which has aesthetics and greater chewing comfort as its main advantages. With the advent of SmartTrack®, Align Technology® started recommending to change aligners after seven days, allowing a maximum movement of 0.25mm per aligner; however, aligners changes are performed every ten days. Objectives: The aim of this study is to present, through a clinical case, a protocol with decreased movement speed and change of aligners every seven days, standardizing on the same day of the week. Case description: A 36-year-old male patient with lower to upper lip protrusion associated with Class I malocclusion with anterior crossbite and presence of inferior diastemas. The virtual treatment plan was performed with a decrease in movement speed through a reprogramming of the number of stages to 42 active and 3 overcorrection stages. Results: The proposed treatment goals were achieved, where a decrease in lower lip protrusion was observed. With the improvement of the facial profile and correction of the anterior crossbite. Conclusion: Aligner replacement every seven days sets a standard in the daily routine, allowing for the faster replacement, reducing the effect of dimensional aligner loss, and a more patient-friendly exchange pattern.
